Kauai Inspired

I find travel such an amazing source of inspiration for creativity and design. Nature provides an endless source of colors and textures to consider. Just the sheer amount of variance in the shades of blue in the ocean or the morning sky always astounds me. It makes me think of color combinations I hadn't considered before.

Local design aesthetic and the use of natural and regional woods and materials is also inspiring. The lobby of the St. Regis in Kauai featured gorgeous local hardwoods I had never seen before.

The whole island was simple stunning and I can't wait to explore more exotic locals and expand my sources of inspiration!
